The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian - Ellen Forney, Sherman Alexie
A quick and easy read, but not one that will soon be forgotten. I wish this had been around and had been required reading when I was in high school. I think if I'd read this as a teen, I'd have enjoyed it even more. If I'd read this as a teen boy (which thankfully I've never been) I would have absolutely loved it. As it stands, I really liked it. It was surprising, heartbreaking, hilarious and thought provoking. I think I found it less funny, however, than I expected. It's mostly pretty heartbreaking. But on the other hand, I actually found more to relate to than I would have expected.
