Witchlight - L.J. Smith
This is probably my least favorite of the series so far, but maybe I've read too many too close together. I think primarily the romances seem to be getting worse as the series progresses. Well, to be fair, that's always been the weakest part of the entire series for me. But I'm also not really the target audience I suppose.

The high point of this book is that it explores and builds upon an aspect of the Night World that previous books have almost completely ignored - shapeshifters. And again, Smith has trusted her readers to handle a book with more than one strong, smart, attractive female character - four in fact! Hallelujah!
