Whoa, trippy. Seriously, seriously trippy.

I checked this out of frustration because I haven't been able to get my hands on this illustrator's other works - Kaito's Cloth and Little Blue. And, waaaaaah, now I'm even more frustrated.

I've really never seen picture book art like this and I've seen A LOT of picture books. The story is really bizarre - surreal and magical and, yes, totally trippy. I like. I like a lot.
