This sweet little book works as a really nice follow-up to a more informational type of book about the holiday of Ramadan - Ramadan by Suhaib Hamid Ghazi, for example. For a child who already knows a little about Ramadan (or perhaps even celebrates it themselves), this book will reinforce the celebratory aspects of the holiday - evening feasts, time with family and friends, prayer, etc. The illustrations here are just lovely - exuding warmth and coziness on every single page. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to share information about this holiday with a child.
