Adam And Eve And The Garden Of Eden (Eden Project) - Jane Ray
After reading and loving Jane Ray's The Story of the Creation I knew we had to try out her version of the Adam and Eve story. Not surprisingly, I absolutely love it! Not only is it just visually stunning (take your time to enjoy the borders!), but the narrative is quite lovely as well. I love that Ray endeavored to include elements from other creations myths. She notes that, 'The garden is a symbol of peace and tranquility, of growth and education, of all that is best in human endeavor, in just about every culture in the world.' And indeed the story here seems to be more about growth and harmony than anything else.

Now, I just need Ray to author/illustrate a children's Bible and I will be very happy indeed.
