Review

Part of the same series as Tower of London: England's Ghostly Castle which I enjoyed immensely. I'm not sure what the difference was here. Perhaps it's because I've never actually visited Windsor Castle, but I didn't find this one nearly as engaging. It may also be that this book didn't rely as heavily on one cohesive device as Tower did with ghost stories. Instead it hops around - telling a little about the history and some random anecdotes and stories. Maybe I'll recall it more fondly after I've actually visited Windsor, but for now consider me not so impressed.
