Buttons - Brock Cole

A unique and diverting take on several familiar fairy tale motifs. A father most distressingly loses all of his trouser buttons and must rely on his three daughters to save the day. Who will complete the task? Will it be the oldest with her clever plan to woo a man in the hopes of extracting a promise of buttons before marriage? Or will it be the middle daughter who plans to disguise her gender and join the military - a place so full of buttons she can't help but obtain a few for her father's britches? Last but not least, the youngest has a plan plan to simply run about the field with her apron open waiting for buttons to fall from the sky. Only time will tell which of these noble plans will succeed and set things to rights!
