Another classic tale gets the Marcia Williams treatment - i.e. made kid-friendly via humorous comic strip format. I've been trying to recapture the magic I felt with Joseph and His Magnificent Coat of Many Colors, but like Don Quixote this didn't quite get 'er done. Admittedly, comics can be difficult to read aloud....but not impossible - after all Joseph worked somehow! This just felt a bit frenetic and all over the place and I think, for that reason, it probably works better for solo reading. I do like that this book includes both The Iliad *and* The Odyssey. It was also pretty thorough considering the format. And the illustrations are fun and engaging.
