This wasn't quite what I was hoping for, but that's not the fault of the book. The packaging led me to expect something lighter - more along the lines of the 'You Wouldn't Want To' series (a big favorite in this house). Instead, this is a real deal (eighteen chapter!) biography. I would take the amazon recommendation of 12 and up seriously in this case. It's quite weighty and even a bit dry - depending on the reader's interest level. That said, there is really good information here and it's presented quite nicely. I don't think we'll continue with this series for the time being, but I will keep it in mind for the future.
