Review
Even though I read this completely out of season (Hello, it's June and over 100 degrees right now!) I was still very delighted by this vintage little holiday story. Mr. Willowby receives his special order Christmas tree only to realize it's a bit too tall even for his stately mansion. Willowby's butler chops off the top and gifts the little remnant to the upstairs maid. When she finds that this little piece is just a tad too tall for her room she chops off yet another bit. And so it goes on and on and on until the very end which I just found completely adorable!
