Forever - Judy Blume
I don't object to this book on moral grounds even though it does happen to be one of the most commonly banned books. Instead I just found it to be corny and dated with boring characters and flat dialogue. I give Blume some kudos for trying to tackle this topic with young teens, but in my mind it really falls short of explaining or helping with first love and/or first intimacy. I don't think many young girls will find much to relate to in this story.
