This is the story of the city of Wu which is situated between China and the land of the Wild Horseman. When the city is threatened by the Wild Horsemen the city leaders decide to pray to Great Cloud Dragon for aid. What to do when a silly looking fat and bald man arrives saying HE is the answer to their prayers? It is a really delightful and engaging story enhanced by Mercer Mayer's totally epic illustrations. The story and illustrations have a rare masculine quality that you just don't often find in picture books. Very highly recommended!
